Improving Productivity
The Virtue of Punctuality
The psychology of non-punctual beings in our kind is that for them punctuality is never a priority. Managing time and being punctual are two intricately related virtues. You can only arrive on time for appointments and commitments if you manage your time well. In other words, punctuality is mastering the skill of time management. Punctuality as a trait not only displays respect for the other person’s time but also speaks volumes about your character. The people who do not endorse it as a habit, the latecomers, show a lack of commitment to success at their work.
Quit Small Thinking
Ok. . .let’s start by saying however “BIG” you must be thinking at this moment, it is not enough. Thinking big comes with seeing big. Only when you venture into something that needs courage – (an idea or a brilliant service to offer or just your talent you need to reach out to people with) – will you gain something out of it. It is like becoming thick-skinned and following your heart, even when others express doubt over your actions. Become one with the vision – start seeing, hearing and feeling it – so you must pursue it, however silly that might seem to your peers and counterparts.
Quit Distraction
We all put in the hours at work, but have we reviewed our output? Do we produce enough value to justify the hours we spend? We would be surprised by the results of our personal work audit. We cannot stop interruptions, but we can practice ways to get back to doing the important things that we have set out to accomplish in the day.
