An entrepreneur at heart, Darpan started his first company at the age of 19 following which he joined a start-up called Baazee.com, which is now EBAY India , as its youngest team member. After his MBA, Darpan worked for Celanese Chemicals , a $5 billion corporation where he led strategy projects varying from $50 million to $250 million in size across Dallas, Singapore, Frankfurt and New Jersey.

Since early 2010, Mr. Darpan Sanghvi is leading Sanghvi Brands, which has created one of South Asia's largest integrated portfolios of international lifestyle wellness brands. The company is now expanding into the US, Middle East and the Indian Ocean.

Sanghvi Brands holds exclusive rights for international and luxurious brands such as Spa L'Occitane , Warren Tricomi Salon & Spa , ELLE Spa & Salon, Holyfield Gyms ,Hollywood trainer Ramona Braganza , My Glamm and Levo Spa and Salon. It includes 60 plus spas/salons/gyms either operational or under development. The location partners for these projects vary from luxury hoteliers such as The Ritz Carlton San Fransico, Galle Face Sri Lanka, JW Marriott to The Leela Group and also, from high-end developments such as expanding internationally in the Middle East, Indian Ocean, USA, on track to become one of the major players in this segment globally. Privately held and professionally managed, the Sanghvi Brands growth story has been supported with a PE investment from US-based Tano Capital.

In July 2015, Mr. Sanghvi launched My Glamm in Mumbai and Pune, considering the need in the market for high quality on demand hair & beauty services delivered at a consumer's doorstep. The aced C.E.O. (My Glamm) is now expanding My Glamm franchisees in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata by Q1 2016.
