Judged by an independent panel of experts and supported by the Indian Franchise Association (IFA) & with Francorp India as Process advisors, Franchise Awards 2016 will reward organizations that have shown outstanding business acumen, passion and achievement of franchise businesses across India. We invite all the Franchisors, Franchisees, Master Franchisees and Entrepreneurs to send their nominations for the awards.

You just need to have completed 1 fiscal year in your franchising business to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

in Indian Retailing

Celebrating the best in Indian retailing, now entering their 11th year, the Star Retailer Awards remain the only awards of the kind where the whole industry gets together to celebrate ; everyone from the independent entrepreneurial retailers to the largest supermarket groups. The Gala Awards Night attracts the most senior figures from across the industry to celebrate excellence and outstanding achievements across the retail fraternity.

The Retail Awards facilitate Retailers to gain the prestige of public acknowledgment as being the leader in their specific sector from the extensive exposure and publicity, which takes place before and after the awards ceremony. Not only is our judging process one of the most rigorous and unique in covering the entire breadth of the take-home market and strives to reflect excellence in as many areas of the trade as possible.

Star Retailer Awards recognize excellence in Retailing and Retail Supply. The award winners will receive extensive media coverage in group publications, Retailer, and online media, Indianretailer.com, and also through our other media partners all year round. Such an achievement & recognition have, according to our Award recipients, translated into further success in their business.

Prospective nominees are required to submit nominations with required fee details and supporting material latest by October 05, 2016. Preliminary jury & prominent franchisors are invited to recommend best performers in key verticals/formats by October 05, 2016. Nomination forms are checked by Franchise India Audit Team for eligibility and data authenticity. Nominees may be asked to rectify mistakes latest by October 9, 2016.

FI team shares presentation with the jury with analysis of performance, growth in top line, retail presence, footprint, sales/sq. ft average transaction, support, back-end processes. A note on effective technology application, marketing effectiveness, supplier relations and employee practices is added by October 10, 2016.

FI jury comprising franchise experts and analysts studies nominees presentations and gives scores based on analysis of performance by October 13, 2016. Results of Industry Recommendation and Jury Score ultimately decide the final nominees by October 14, 2016. Awardees names will be announced at the glistening ceremony on October 16, 2016.

Jury and the organizer have the right to decide on the final categories to be awarded renaming categories and moving nominations to the most appropriate categories-Wherever required.

Categories failing to receive less than three valid nominations will be dropped without notice.
