Vinod Keni is an accomplished, results-driven entrepreneur, investor, finance professional, advisor/mentor, and company builder. With more than 25 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience in the US & India, he has a track record of success in achieving positive business results. He has worked with early and growth stagecompanies, leading the finance function, investing in them, fund raising, M&A, corporate development and being a strategic partner to founders. Vinod has built and successfully exited ventures in services, outsourcing and technology. As a corporate finance professional, he has helped build companies, led two NASDAQ IPOs, and executed several fund raising, M&A & Corporate Development initiatives.
Vinod leverages his extensive experience, best practices, pragmatism with demonstrated execution capabilities and extensive networks. He currently advises a US-based healthcare company & family office on investments, strategic M&A and partnerships. He was till recently, the Growth Partner at Artha Venture Fund, a seed & early stage micro VC fund. He helped launch the fund, pitched and raised LP commitments, set up the investment process, sourced, invested and managed startups. Investments through the fund include LenDenClub, Agnikul, PiggyRide, Perfit & Dhurina. He is the Founder & Partner, Peachtree Management Advisors, a finance transformation&growth advisory consulting boutique. He has extensive experience with venture capital funds having worked with Aavishkaar, the IAN Fund (briefly) and SCP Private Equity. An active angel investor, Vinod has invested in early and seed stage companies operating in tech, food, healthcare, financial services, outsourcing and B2C brands.
As an entrepreneur, he co-foundedbusinesses in services, outsourcing and technology. He founded Aquarian CFO Services, a CFO Advisory services boutique that was acquired. Was a co-founder of Capella, a litigation support/insurance KPO that was acquired, and Peachtree Services, which was acquired. As a CFO, he led HomeCom’s IPO listing on NASDAQ, led CareerBuilder’s IPO on NASDAQ and helped restructure Cortera, a fintech pioneer. He has advised and consulted with several mid-sized and large organizations in India and the US, providing solutions spanning business advisory, CFO, growth, corporate development, investments, and M&A. He was part of the founding team at VerticalOne, a fintech pioneer, which was acquired within 18 months of its founding by S1 Corporation (ACI Worldwide). He was part of finance teams at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, HCA, and IVF America. Vinod worked with S.R. Batliboi, the Indian affiliate of E&Y, where he was deputed to Texas Instruments, and later to Intel to set up &manage their financial operations, reporting and recruitment. He helped Intel with setting up their subsidiary in India.
