Sh. Balram Garg, aged 52 years hold bachelor’s degree in commerce from University of Delhi. He has more than 30 years of experience in the jewellery industry. He is the founder and promoter of M/s PC Jeweller Limited and its Managing Director since its incorporation, i.e April 2005. In his role as Managing Director he has been at the helm of affairs of the company and instrumental in its growth and development. He has been instrumental in establishing PC Jeweller as a prominent brand and one of the top players in organized retail jewellery sector. Under his dynamic leadership and guidance ,the company has grown tremendously and achieved many mile stones, awards and accreditations, including a successful listing at BSE and NSE. PCJ currently has 80 showrooms in 16 states and 56 cities. But Mr. Garg believes that jewellery is a long term sustainable business with huge growth potential and is therefore planning for further expansion of stores in selected locations. He is a strong believer in harnessing the power of technology for growing the business. Accordingly PCJ was one of the very early companies to venture into online retail of jewellery. Similarly the company has been exploring the potential of AR and VR for increasing the customer’s engagement. Some of the other steps taken by the PCJ include introducing digital gold, creating Omni channel shopping experience by online-offline integration. Mr. Garg is a multi-faceted personality and a man of multi tasking and multi skills. He is still in his fifties and under his leadership PC Jeweller Limited is sure to achieve greater heights in the years to come.
