Mr. Fayez Al Nusari, Founder & CEO, Mandilicious, United Arab Emirates
Fayez Al Nusari was born in Yemen, but as the son of a diplomatic family, he was brought up around the world. In 2012, Fayez embarked to become a food and beverage entrepreneur as the founder and managing director of a brand new restaurant concept. Having spotted a niche in the market for Arabia's traditional cuisine in a more modern setting, the result was Mandilicious. It is the world's first quick service food court restaurant to serve traditional, slow-cooked mandi, as well as other much-loved, authentic Arabian dishes such as madhbi, mugalgal and kabsa. Offering dine in, take out, delivery and outside catering, the business began with a single outlet in Dubai's Times Square Centre. Within less than six months, Mandilicious signed up for eight further outlets (including Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai Today, Fayez is recognised as an expert on the heritage of Arabia's traditional cuisine, and an innovator in the F&B industry thanks to Mandilicious LLC's unique concept.
