Mr. D. K. Mandal,
President, ILD
D.K. Mandal has more than five decades of experience in design, construction, project management and infrastructure planning. Mandal has also played a key role in setting up JVs and foreign collaborations, as well as implemented real estate projects for DLF, the largest real estate company in the country.
Mandal has also written several articles for professional magazines and aims to share his wide knowledge as Faculty member for the continuing education centre of Delhi Institute of Science & Technology.
Mandal’s professional affiliations include MIE India, Associate Member of American Society of Civil Engineer, Member of Kuwait Society of Engineers. In his free time, Mandal also enjoys reading literature and philosophy, as well as medical sciences.
National pride, or the spirit that binds us together as a
collective soul, does not have a permanent home in our
hearts and mind. For most of us it responds to the
stimulus of a cricket match, on national holidays or
situations of armed conflict. Most of the times we are
filled with mixed emotions.
