An alumnus of IIM, Lucknow, and armed with a Strategic Leadership Certificate from IIM, Ahmedabad, Mr. Chandrashekar believes that education is the foundation of life. He has been responsible for the establishment and management of JGI K-12 schools across the country since 2003.
With learning and development being his key area of focus, he serves on a number of panels at CII and CII - Yi (Young Indians). Mr. Chandrashekar has been a leadership coach, organization mentor on numerous occasions. He promotes Saachi Foundation � an initiative for empowering children.
He has received various awards and honours � �The Best School Chain of the Country Award� for Value-Centricity, Future Readiness and Imparting STEM Education by Shri Salman Khurshid, Hon�ble Union Minister, Inspirational Leader of the Year Award from SOE Global Education in December 2012, Teachers Day Felicitation Award from Sachidananda Kala Peetham, to name a few.
National pride, or the spirit that binds us together as a
collective soul, does not have a permanent home in our
hearts and mind. For most of us it responds to the
stimulus of a cricket match, on national holidays or
situations of armed conflict. Most of the times we are
filled with mixed emotions.
