Ms. Suchitra Rajendra VP & Head HR, PepsiCo India
Suchitra has over 20 years of rich HR experience in Australia, India and Asia Pac, in a variety of sectors ranging from not for profit to consulting to FMCG. She has both line HR, consulting and strategic HR experience.
She has recently moved back to India as Head HR for PepsiCo India Region for all businesses. She is responsible for driving the talent, culture and organization agenda to enable HR to partner strongly with the business. A core part of her role is to drive the D&I strategy and actions.
Prior to this she was heading the HR function for multiple countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Korea, Japan and Philippines) across Asia Pacific for PepsiCo. Her focus was on building the right organization design and change management to ensure PepsiCo continues to win in a highly competitive global environment. She was also responsible for ensuring that a high values culture is embedded across the geography.
Earlier, she was Director Talent Sustainability at PepsiCo India and responsible for the entire gamut of creating the right policies, processes, culture and systems. She designed interventions to build a robust leadership pipeline to ensure sustainability of the business. She was instrumental in setting the D&I charter for PepsiCo India.
She joined PepsiCo in 2006 and prior to that was the Associate Director at Cerebrus Consulting responsible for setting up and driving business in the Northern region of India. She was heading the HR function at Work-Ventures in Sydney, Australia. She started her career at CDOT at the turning point of the telecom transformation in India.
She has a Post Graduate degree in HR from Xaviers Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur, India and Graduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry from Bangalore university.
She is a speaker at WIN, I-inspire, National Conference for Women Leaders, CLO conference, NHRD, DMA, and is a guest lecturer at MDI, India.
