Madhur is seasoned Sales and Marketing Professional with 23 years of rich and varied Global experience in FMCG and Telecom. Last 12 years he has been running businesses with P&L responsibility across Indian and International Markets.

Madhur has proven track record of Business scale up for challenger brands. He has achieved the turnarounds in highly competitive environment, by formulating focused strategies and seamless integration of Strategy and Execution.

He joined Essar in 2008 as CEO of Essar Telecom Infrastructure. He then moved as Country Head of Uganda Telecom. Prior to joining Essar Oil, he was Country Head for Essar Telecom, Kenya, run under yuMobile brand name. He has been instrumental in Merger & Acquisitions, Fund Raising and Business Transformation Projects at Essar. In his current assignment with Essar Oil as their CEO Retail, Madhur will be leading the change in Petroleum retailing, while expanding the National footprint of Essar Oil from 1500 to 5000 retail outlets

He began his career in 1991 and in his previous assignments worked with Ranbaxy Group, Voltas, PepsiCo, FritoLay US and Airtel.

He possesses a Masters in Business Administration, with specialization in Marketing.

Madhur is an avid Fitness Enthusiast and Marathon Runner. He loves endurance swimming and tennis. He is passionate about automobiles!
