Safir Anand, the Senior Partner and Head of Trademarks and Contractual Law Practice at Anand and Anand, holds an experience of 15 years. During his career he has advised companies across spectrum from FMCG to Pharmaceuticals to Retail to IT etc on issues ranging from brand protection to commercial exploitation.

His advisory role includes due diligence, documentation, structuring royalty payments, IP audits, counterfeiting, negotiations etc. He is also extensively involved in developing Indian brands overseas including under franchise. He has conducted several workshops including for US companies and sector specific workshops.

He has also authored various articles pertaining to licensing and IP rights.
